When I talk to people about the Tickle Fingers Cookbook and the work I do to promote resources for cooking with children aged 1 to 4, I often detect a little polite scepticism. I think they have visions of a barely-walking toddler propped up against a hob stirring a saucepan. Ok, so they are not going to be cooking gourmet dishes, but with the right approach and the right recipes, it is amazing what they can produce. For those sceptics, I have put together a video of my girls cooking over the years. Apologies for the quality of the footage - it was cobbled together from a load of home movies.
